External hard drive question. How do you change which drive it is on when you connect to your computer?
I have an external dvd burner, external hard drive, and a usb 1gb remembrance spike that i up and unplug regularly on my computer. But everytime i clog it in the ironmongery is on rare drives everytime. For admonition some times when i clog in the external drive it is now located on the F: drive then next mores it will be on the E: drive, then sometimes on the G: drive.
Is there a way i can permantly set it to lodge on one all the beat even after i unplug it? Can i boost it back in and have it pop on the same drive everytime?
The pretext why i am asking is matter all my defaults on definite programs (i.e. itunes etc...) are set to a confident drive. When i boost it back in and the drive changes then the defaults become wrong.
